Christmas Break

As we prepare for the Christmas break, I would like to send out a reminder about finishing the semester strong.  Make sure that you stay current with the blog and review other people's posts.  There are numerous polls that need your vote as well.  Great job everyone!

Choose your Profile subject carefully

Remember that your profile subject should be one of interest.  Avoid changing your topic at the last minute.  This could prove costly for your entire profile. 

Post Thanksgiving post

Our goal for the next four weeks is to practice the art of publishing as a professional would.  Make sure that you are sharing ideas with your colleague, proofing every post before it is publish and most importantly, giving credit to other sources without cutting and pasting from the original.

First quarter conclusion

Our first nine weeks are coming to a close.  The Journalism students have worked efficiently with updating the school blog.  They are spending time researching topics in their area, learning about different areas of interest.  I have been pleased with their work ethic.  Great job to all!

Three week jam session

Wow!  I have been amazed at the work and creativity that our Journalism students have been putting into Wolf News.  We are still learning about the differences between research and personal voice.  I want to invite all staff and students to join in our dialogue.  Please inquire about our blog and don't be surprised if you are asked your opinion about the many different areas that we are covering.
